Great Barrier Reef is a special place to visit and You should take the Catamaran Cruise

Australia is one of the most spectacular place to visit, and you will surely be amazed by the diversity of beauty this country has. Australia is one of the few countries in the world that has nearly everything from stunning beaches, red scorched deserts, lush green rainforest, coral reefs, big sand islands, natural rock formations, and some of the world’s most picturesque natural wonders that will leave you in awe.

Australia is home to many landmarks that are famous all across the world, and every year thousands of travelers come to see them and spend their vacations. Growing up I heard many people talking about Australia as a dream destination, and after visiting this amazing country I know why it is said so.

Australia is the sixth-largest country in the world with staggering contrast of land and sea, which you will not find anywhere else. Most of the inland area is barren and desolate, but along the coast the cities are extremely beautiful and developed. The one thing that pushed me to visit Australia was the stunning Great Barrier Reef, and I also wanted to see the Australian Outback.

The Great Barrier Reef is the largest coral reef system consisting of nearly 3000 reefs and 900 islands. The reef is located off the coast of Queensland, and it is so vast that it can be seen from outer space too. Since childhood we heard the term great seven natural wonders of the earth, and Great Barrier Reef is one of them. The complete reef is a dazzling display of nature, labyrinth of coral cays, surreal islands, serene lagoons, inshore mangrove islands, and diverse marine wildlife.

The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park stretches for a staggering 2,300 km (kilometers), which is roughly the distance from Mexico to Vancouver. The coral reef site is a symbol of Australia and one of the world’s favorite tourist attractions. You can explore the numerous small islands dotting along the reef and witness the astonishing array of marine life. There are more than 1,600 species of marine animals that includes tropical fish, dolphins, sharks, turtles, rays, giant clams, and endangered manatees. If you wish to come and visit the serenity of Great Barrier Reef then the main points of tours include Cairns, Airlie Beach, and Port Douglas. You will get plenty of opportunities to go for exciting cruise tours, and indulge in various water sports and activities such as snorkeling, scuba diving, and surfing.

There is a whole new world underwater, and the colorful coral reefs provide shelter and homes to the fishes, sharks, whales, and other marine animals. Once in Great Barrier Reef, the one activity that you will certainly love would be the Catamaran Cruise from Cairns. You would set sail to two of the most stunning outer reef locations on a premium and superior performance catamaran.

There are many activities that excited me, and some of them that I loved were snorkeling, swimming, diving, and relaxing on board and dining on delicious food and drinks. You will get a chance to spot turtles, colorful fishes, and exotic corals. The catamaran is driven by a professional captain, and the friendly crew will ensure that your needs and wishes are fulfilled to make your tour a memorable one.
