The Official city tour starts at the Fisherman's wharf and takes you down Embarcadero to Downtown San Francisco where you can shop and eat at your leisure in Union Square. Further the bus will take you through Civic centre which is City Hall San Francisco and continues further into Golden Gate park through Haight and Ashbury. Walk through the hippie times of San Francisco at Haight and Ashbury. The Golden Gate park houses a number of attractions like California Academy of Sciences, De-Young Museum, Japanese tea gardens, Conservatory of Flowers, etc.
The tour goes on over the Golden Gate Bridge with great views of the bay and Alcatraz island. At the North Vista point, enjoy the photographic views of San Francisco's skyline and the bridge. Moving on, the bus takes you to Palace of Fine Arts and through the Marina district back to Downtown Union Square, going further into Chinatown which you can explore for their great food and culture. See the Transamerica Pyramid in Financial District and going through North Beach and Pier 39, come back to Fisherman's wharf.
Once you hop off the bus, you can keep exploring the city by bike with the self-guided bike rentals for bicycle tours of spectacular sites in San Francisco and the surrounding areas. Ride along the Marina and stop by the Palace of Fine Arts. Cut an easy ride to Golden Gate Park to see the bison up close. Or, bike the Golden Gate Bridge with spectacular views of San Francisco and Alcatraz. Ride down to Sausalito for a picnic by the waterfront, and return by ferry (not included).
